Search terms go directly to the outside company powering the selected tool. That provider processes the request and returns results. Our own systems do not retain or log the query.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be kept as long as reasonably needed to respond. We do not disclose correspondence outside the organization unless the law requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Every time a page on this site loads, our servers pick up some technical details about the visit:

No Court-Record Data on File
This site does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Houston County court dockets or personal case information. It publishes general directions to the District Clerk, County Clerk, courts, local Online Records Search, and re:SearchTX. Houston County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their policies, retention periods, and disclosure practices apply to submitted information. Review the provider's privacy terms before entering a query because this policy does not control that processing.
Links to Other Websites
Throughout the site we link to clerk of court pages, trial court portals, statewide case-search systems, legal aid groups, and third-party search tools. Clicking any of those links takes you off our site. At that point, their privacy policy governs your visit. Read it before sharing any personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards protect the information collected. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so we cannot promise unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If such data is identified, a deletion request may be submitted.

Texas privacy and consumer-protection laws may provide rights in addition to those described here. The Texas Public Information Act and Texas judicial-access rules govern public government and court information, not this site's private analytics practices. At a minimum, you can:
